More and more schools across the nation are implementing a Closed-Campus Policy restricting or limiting visitor access. This action is one of many new added security measures that some school officials feel is necessary to ensure the safety of both staff and students. This year, Fruitvale Elementary School will also be implementing a new Closed-Campus Policy. All visitor's will be required to check in via our Visitor Management System and obtain proper clearances. Letters went out over the summer informing families of this new policy, however, more information is available in the office. What are your thoughts regarding a Closed-Campus Policy?
